Policy
Enrollment at Almost home Infant Care is available to all children six weeks of age until 12 months of age, base on available space in the center.
No child will be refused enrollment based on race, religion, creed, or sex.
Tuition
Tuition payments are due on Monday by 6:00 p.m. for the upcoming week. Payments shall be submitted in the specially-designated payment box in the center. If payment is not received when due, a $5 late fee will be added. If full payment (including late fee) is not received Wednesday, your child will not be admitted back into the program until full payment is made.
Even if your child is absent for a day or for the week, tuition remains the same. This policy also applies to weeks in which a holiday occurs. The center is closed one week every year for staff vacations. The dates will be posted in January. Families do not pay for this week. Families are also allowed one more week for vacations, providing the child has been enrolled for at least six months.
Payment & Fees
Payments are accepted in cash, check or money order. If you choose to pay by cash, please have the correct amount available, as no funds are available to “make change.” Receipts are provided for each payment. Families also receive a receipt in January detailing all tuition paid the prior year.
A Registration Fee of $25 is due at the time of enrollment. This fee is one-time only and non-refundable.
A $35 fee applies for returned checks. If two checks have been returned at any time, parents are required to pay tuition by cash or money order. Personal checks will no longer be accepted. Closing time for Almost Home is 6:00 p.m. If a child is picked up after 6:01 p.m., a late fee of $1 per minute applies. This fee is due at the time of arrival and should be made in cash. If a parent has not called or arrived by 6:30, we will begin calling the child’s emergency contact numbers. If we are unable to reach the parent(s) or the emergency contacts, we will notify the police.
Withdrawal & Termination.
Almost Home requires a two week notification in writing, if you choose to withdraw your child. Failure to give notification will result in a charge for the two weeks’ tuition. If your child is absent for one week without any notification, we will assume you have withdrawn your child and steps will be taken to collect the two weeks’ tuition.
Almost Home reserves the right to terminate any child or family from the program who does not abide by the center’s procedures and policies.
